a new gallery space - cici's W3 Gallery

a virtual art place with 1 minute video art shows.

It all began with her photographing a shoe box... to be the basis of 3 walls of the new gallery.
From those photographed new walls, cici "hung" her work & projected her videos, well at least virtually.

In May 2014,  the w3 Gallery opened with the movement of a series of Black & White Drawings (6x6") in the new show box artspace.

The PREVIEW

New art with unusual music technique by CICI ARTIST

DEMODULATION uses text and images with permission from a book from the Reanimation Library (Brooklyn)  as the basis for both video and musical score.

The music was generated based on a computer program CICI ARTIST created that maps text from the book to music.

The project was inspired from the Franklin Street Works (Stamford, CT) gallery's April 2013 show entitled "Strange Invitations."

Video screened at Franklin Street Works

In March 2012, Renee Kahn presented her work- in-progress larger than life overhead projections of the Lower East Side ...at the Franklin Street Works Gallery in Stamford. 


I produced/animated her twelve 1950's  brownie camera photographs into this video which screened at the Gallery.

Work in Progress Videos - WIP 01

Next summer, I will have a show "3 (BIG) Pieces" at the LAA Gallery in Stamford, CT.

I am working on the 3 pieces.
and.. creating short videos as I progress... These videos, in reedited form, will be integral to the show.

One of the 3 Big pieces will be an Orchestral Installation.  I drew 100 sketches of the musicians.  Some of those sketches are in this first WIP (Work In Progress) video.

Musician's 2011 - online art show

Stepping up to the music is my latest art series of Musicians, "Musicians 2011."

I've taken my ladies back to a smaller format of 6" to 12" square. Mixing them with a bit of mixed media but keeping the full color and ink smudged watercolor technique that I love so dearly.

Hurricane Irene - aftermath diversion faces

After the Hurricane swept through... and the power went out...
I took to ink & watercolor to make it through the next 48 hours...
